My Tropicana Speech

I am in 5th grade and it is that time of year when we have to write speeches. I love vacations as most people do so I wrote my speech about the mountains in Georgia. Here is my speech:

Every spring break my family, my friend Rachel and I go to the mountains in Georgia. Here, it is the best vacation I have ever been on. There are many fun places to go,but my top two,I think are by far the best.

The log cabin is one of my favorite spots in the mountains. Have you ever seen one that is 3 stories high, ours was. Some people think log cabins are not built with logs but they are. The location of our cabins was in the mountains. Imagine walking out on to your balcony and looking at all the mountains among you. Something really beautiful is watching the sun set. Everyone always says"Look how pretty the sun set is." and they are right about that!

My second favorite place is snow tubing in Tennessee. Since our position is on the boarder of North Carolina and Tennessee we can arrive at our destination in less than an hour!On the way there, we saw snow along the side of the road, so my mom stopped the car so the kids could play with the snow (This was a big deal because I have never seen snow in my life.) Finally we went snow tubing down a 100 foot hill in a tube. Once we got to the top of the (by a built in escalator) I slid down very fast. The snow was very cold but, what can I expect... its snow! I have never before gone snow tubing, so this really made my day up in the adventurous mountains.If you like snow I strongly recommend this place to go and this very thrilling activity.

Everyone has their favorite vacation spot they go on every year, but this spot is my favorite place to go. I always look forward to Spring Break because I know exactly what were going to do. These mountains are truly amazing. When its time to go back home nobody e wants to leave.Sometimes we even ask if we can stay here forever! That's how much my family loves it here .I couldn't ask for a better place to stay on the best vacation! Yes were JAM PACKED in my moms car that fits 7 people, but I wouldn't miss this opportunity for the world!
